FIRPTA (Foreign Investment in Real Property Tax Act) can be confusing and if ignored, can cost time, money and be a constant source of frustration when buying or selling real estate. FIRPTA 101 is a course designed to give you an overview of this complex process so that you will feel more confident in managing the transactions in which FIRPTA applies.

FIRPTA Solutions, Inc. is now hosting this virtual course live streamed via Zoom. Registration is open to anyone affiliated with real estate, but licensed Florida realtors may receive two continuing education credits from the Florida DBPR and licensed Colorado realtors may receive two continuing education credits from the Colorado DORA. CE credits are also available for Oregon, Ohio & Tennessee realtors. Ohio realtors must register 3 weeks prior to class date.

All materials will be available online. The delivery system will be a live streamed lecture with PowerPoint presentation via Zoom and correspondence with participants through email.

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT : All students are required to be in full camera view as active participants throughout the duration of the course.

An eBook will also be given to each participant at the conclusion of the course.
